SANS 2020 Automation and Integration Survey Results – Panel Discussion
The SANS: Automation and Integration Survey was conducted by the SANS Institute, the most trusted and by far the largest source for information security training and security certification in the world.
The 2019 Automation and Integration Survey provided an overview of where organizations are in their automation/integration journey. This extension of that survey looks at what automation activities have been successful—and why—and how organizations set up their automation activities to achieve meaningful results. Respondents were asked to quantify their successes more concretely in this year’s survey.
In this on-demand webcast, Carson Sweet, CloudPassage CEO with other co-sponsors ant the SANS Analyst team discuss the survey results and deep dive into:
- The current level of security automation across key areas within an organization, such as the SOC, incident response and others
- Where respondents have focused their automation efforts
- How organizations are measuring the value of automation and integration
- The critical automation requirements are needed to improve security posture and the barriers to their implementation or realization
