SAN FRANCISCO, CA , May 8, 2014

CloudPassage, the leading Software Defined Security (SDSec) company, today announced that Larry Link, angel investor, advisor and former Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Palo Alto Networks, has joined the CloudPassage board of directors. Link brings 25 years of experience as a senior operating executive with an impressive background in the enterprise market to his role as a CloudPassage board member.

“Larry brings with him a very rare track record of enterprise success as both an executive and advisor. He has a deep understanding of scaling revenue trajectories of disruptive technologies. From running worldwide sales for Palo Alto Networks, taking them from their earliest days all the way through IPO, to acting on the board of Mojave Networks, DB Networks and NetCitadel, Larry’s counsel is incredibly valuable,” said Carson Sweet, CEO of CloudPassage. “We look forward to his expertise not only in the boardroom but also on the ground with our team as an advisor.”

Link’s operating experience includes leadership roles at successful startups, like Silver Peak Systems, Neoteris (acquired by Juniper Networks,) and Excite@Home. Earlier in his career, he held sales and sales management positions at Silicon Graphics and Hewlett-Packard.

“CloudPassage is removing the security obstacle standing between enterprises and the promise of the cloud. I’m excited to work with the CloudPassage team and help them drive the solution further into the market,” said Larry Link.
