CloudPassage, the leader in cloud workload and container security, today announced continued momentum in 2018 with a five-star product rating from SC Magazine and a Cybersecurity Excellence Award Gold Winner for CyberSecurity Company.
This comes on the heels of the availability of CloudPassage’s award-winning security automation platform Halo and the Server Secure cloud workload security solution on AWS Marketplace. Customers subscribing to Halo Server Secure on AWS Marketplace can now purchase it as part of the new AWS Enterprise Contract program. The Enterprise Contract program standardizes the contract between CloudPassage and the customer, helping them simplify their security budgeting and streamlining payment by transitioning CloudPassage Halo to a line item on the customer’s AWS bill
“We’re finding enterprise-level businesses still struggle to ensure that their security and compliance practices can achieve the critical velocity and coverage required to keep pace with the rapid application development and delivery strategies they’re employing,” said Ash Wilson, strategic engineering specialist at CloudPassage. “What’s more, container adoption has skyrocketed over the last two years creating a strategic imperative to secure them during build-time, before they are deployed into production, and then during run-time. Right now CloudPassage Halo is the only security platform that can secure cloud-based workloads and containers on servers and VMs as well as private, public, and hybrid cloud environments.”
The five-star rating from SC Magazine is the second five-star review in a row for CloudPassage and highlights Halo’s performance, automation and compliance capabilities. This review is evaluated based on features, documentation value for money, performance, support and ease of use.
Additionally, CloudPassage brought home the Gold for the Best Cybersecurity Company in January from Cybersecurity Insiders in partnership with the Information Security Community on LinkedIn, which taps into the vast experience of over 400,000 plus cybersecurity professionals to honor the world’s best cybersecurity products, professionals and organizations. The award honors companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation and leadership and is decided based on the strength of their nominations and by members of the Information Security Community.
CloudPassage will also be the primary sponsor of BSides SF 2018 in April. BSides San Francisco is an annual, two day, open forum for discussion and debate for security engineers and their affiliates. The technical and academic presentations at BSidesSF are given in the spirit of peer review and advanced knowledge dissemination. Additional BSides SF sponsors for 2018 include Google, Apple and Lyft.
Looking forward, CloudPassage is furthering its security expertise with the upcoming launch of its newest product built on the Halo platform (code-named Project Cielo) focused on delivering security and compliance intelligence for public cloud infrastructure services like those provided by AWS, Google, and Microsoft. Currently, CloudPassage’s Halo platform, which includes Container Secure and Server Secure, is the only solution that allows enterprises to secure assets like servers, cloud instances, containers and artifact registries using a single platform, regardless of asset location. The addition of Project Cielo extends the Halo platform to include cloud-delivered compute, storage, and other infrastructure services, making Halo unique in protecting application components anywhere – in any delivery model, at speed and scale.
