AWS re:Invent 2016 recap

Last week, we attended AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas along with 32,000 attendees. There, we were able to demonstrate the unique abilities of CloudPassage Halo, in particular delivering workload security at DevOps speed for Amazon Web Services users.

In our presentations we highlighted EC2 instance protection specifically, and how Halo enables secure workflow in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment.

Throughout the week we also held a Twitter contest to showcase our mascot – Don T. Daemon – with #SpeedDaemon, who was featured on our t-shirt giveaways at the booth:

We had two lucky winners of the contest – Matthew Schmitt of Risk/IQ (pictured below) and Evic Oropilla of CCC Confer, who each received an Amazon Prime membership.

We had a great time at the event talking to a wide array of people from many industries and levels of experience, from companies running their full business in AWS excited about how Halo can help automate the security of their workloads to newbies just starting to dip their toes into the AWS ecosystem and how to keep their workflows secure.
